Helping you to help yourself
Counselling, Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and Your Mental Well-being.

At this unprecedented time of social change due to Covid-19, you may be struggling  at home and at work with the sudden shift in lifestyle, significant stresses, reduced activity, social isolation, relationship difficulties and loneliness

Anxiety is a normal response to all of these.

However, there is a fine line between appropriate concern and fear.  Talking about your fears can be helpful.  I am an experienced professional who can help you to calm your body and relieve it of stress, to manage your emotions, and to control your responses to these constantly changing events.

This can all be done confidentially from the comfort and safety of your home, either on-line or by telephone.

Counselling

Counselling offers professional support in a safe and confidential environment to explore important and sensitive issues. It is a professional helping relationship to help people help themselves

I understand it can be difficult to take the decision to seek professional help.

I will help you feel at ease within a confidential, non-judgmental, therapeutic relationship where we work together to achieve your goal

You do not have to be distressed or have a problem to benefit from counselling. You can simply use it to gain a better understanding of yourself and other people, or to assess your life in an objective way to help make decisions about your future.

Hypnotherapy

Clinical Hypnosis is a procedure that utilises the hypnotic state to facilitate the treatment of anxiety, panic attacks, stress, habit disorders, IBS, pain, depression, and many other difficulties

Clients are taught self-hypnosis to manage themselves and restore and enhance health and well being in areas including IBS, stress, anxiety, pain management. depression, childbirth, and smoking cessation

I am an accredited member of the British Society of Academic and Clinical Hypnosios (BSCAH) - a body that aims to promote the safe and responsible use of hypnosis.

Hypnotic interventions are supported by rigorous research and clinical trials and are integrated into medical and psychological approcahes to healthcare.
